Chih-Chieh Hung (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. Currently, he is an Associate Professor with the Department of Management Information System, National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. He has published some papers in several prestigious conferences, such as IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE), IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM), and ACM Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (ACM CIKM) and prestigious journals (e.g., IEEE TKDE, IEEE SMC, and VLDB J.). His research interests include data mining, mobile and pervasive computing, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award in ACM Workshop on location-based social network 2009.
