Started her career as a Scientist, Nuclear Science, at BARC, Mumbai, switched to entrepreneurship
where she could combine her scientific training and aptitude with Computer Information Technology to provide solutions for environmental sustainability. Sarita comes with over 25 years of experience in corporate IT, Research & Development, and Entrepreneurship. She founded Green Cosmos Energy Solutions and co-founded Tensor Digital Solutions. With a lean and agile team, designed and developed the award winning real-time energy analytics software solution, “RealNatics” that provides big data energy analytics solutions to smart grids and smart cities. Green Cosmos was selected among Top 20 Global World-Changing Startups by 1776 Challenge Cup, 2015, Best Native HANA application at SAP TechEd Florida, 2014, HOT 100, Race to grace Startup India, 2015.
Currently Green Cosmos is working on creating sustainable and environment friendly products and solutions with the lofty goal of developing 8 billion ways of sustainable living. The methods, the software and the products are being designed and developed to prevent
or reduce air, soil and water pollution. Sarita has been featured among 15 smart grid experts who are transforming energy use around theworld.
